Website Terms of Use
Effective Date: July 10, 2026
These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CPR Ready Generation™ website (the "Website"), which is owned and operated by WorldPoint ECC, Inc. ("WorldPoint," "we," "our," or "us").
The CPR Ready Generation™ ("Movement") is a student-led movement sponsored by WorldPoint that promotes CPR and AED awareness, readiness, leadership, and confidence to act in emergency situations. The Movement is intended to complement—not replace—existing CPR education and certification programs.
By accessing or using this Website, submitting information through the Website, participating in any online or offline activities associated with the Movement, or using any resources, services, applications, or materials made available through the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or program-specific terms that may apply.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use this Website.
WorldPoint reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
1. About The CPR Ready Generation™
The CPR Ready Generation™ is a student-led movement designed to help build a culture of readiness by encouraging confidence, leadership, peer engagement, and willingness to act during emergencies involving sudden cardiac arrest and other situations where CPR or AED awareness may be relevant.
The Movement is intended to strengthen the impact of existing CPR and AED education by encouraging students and communities to move beyond awareness toward confidence and preparedness. It is not a certification provider, medical training organization, emergency response service, or healthcare provider. Participation in the Movement is voluntary and intended to complement formal CPR and AED education offered by qualified organizations.
WorldPoint serves as the sponsor and administrator of the Movement by providing strategic support, educational resources, operational oversight, and opportunities that help the Movement grow while preserving its student-led character. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship between WorldPoint and any participant, volunteer, school, educator, ambassador, sponsor, or visitor.
Participation in the Movement does not confer any authority to act on behalf of WorldPoint unless expressly authorized in writing.
2. Eligibility
The Website is intended for individuals interested in learning about or participating in The CPR Ready Generation™, including students, parents or guardians, educators, school administrators, volunteers, sponsors, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
By using this Website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms or, if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, that you have obtained any permissions required by applicable law, your parent or legal guardian, your school, or your school district, as applicable.
Certain programs—including ambassador programs, leadership opportunities, conferences, scholarships, advisory committees, contests, or other initiatives—may have additional eligibility requirements or require separate applications, agreements, waivers, or parental or school consent.
WorldPoint reserves the right to determine eligibility for any program or opportunity offered through the Movement and may modify eligibility requirements at its discretion.
3. Educational Purpose; No Medical Advice or Certification
The CPR Ready Generation™ exists to promote awareness, confidence, leadership, and readiness surrounding CPR and AED response. The Movement encourages individuals to build confidence in their ability to recognize emergencies, seek help, and support a culture of preparedness.
All information, resources, articles, videos, graphics, downloadable materials, presentations, social media content, and other content made available through the Website or the Movement are provided solely for general educational and informational purposes.
Nothing on this Website constitutes:
-
medical advice;
-
legal advice;
-
professional healthcare services;
-
emergency medical guidance;
-
clinical instruction;
-
CPR certification;
-
AED certification; or
-
a substitute for formal education or training provided by qualified instructors or recognized certifying organizations.
Participation in The CPR Ready Generation™ does not qualify any individual to provide medical care, perform CPR, operate an AED, or render emergency services.
Individuals interested in learning CPR or AED skills should complete formal instruction through qualified training organizations, including organizations that provide nationally recognized CPR and AED education.
Nothing contained on this Website should be interpreted as recommending a particular medical treatment or course of action for any specific emergency.
In the event of an emergency, individuals should immediately contact local emergency services (such as 911 in the United States) and follow the instructions of emergency dispatchers and trained medical professionals.
4. No Duty to Act
Participation in The CPR Ready Generation™ is intended to encourage awareness, confidence, leadership, and preparedness. However, participation in the Movement does not create any legal, medical, professional, contractual, or ethical duty for any individual or organization to provide emergency assistance or medical care.
Nothing contained within the Website or the Movement shall be interpreted as creating an obligation for participants, students, educators, volunteers, schools, sponsors, healthcare professionals, ambassadors, advisors, or any other person or organization to intervene during an emergency.
Each emergency situation is unique. Decisions regarding emergency response must be made by individuals based upon their own judgment, training, abilities, personal safety, applicable law, and the circumstances present at the time of the emergency.
WorldPoint does not supervise or direct the actions of participants during emergencies and assumes no responsibility for decisions made by individuals before, during, or after an emergency event.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
The CPR Ready Generation™ seeks to strengthen awareness, confidence, leadership, and willingness to act during emergencies. While research and experience suggest that education, confidence, and community engagement may contribute to greater preparedness, WorldPoint makes no representation or warranty regarding the effectiveness of the Movement for any particular individual or community.
Participation in the Movement does not guarantee:
-
that a participant will intervene during an emergency;
-
that a participant will correctly recognize an emergency;
-
successful CPR or AED performance;
-
improved medical outcomes;
-
survival of any individual;
-
prevention of injury or death;
-
increased emergency response rates;
-
increased bystander CPR rates; or
-
any particular educational, leadership, or personal outcome.
Individual experiences and outcomes vary based on numerous factors beyond the control of WorldPoint, including training, experience, judgment, physical ability, environmental conditions, available equipment, emergency medical response, and the specific circumstances of an emergency.
The Website and the Movement are intended to encourage preparedness and confidence but should never be relied upon as a guarantee of future performance or emergency outcomes.
6. Voluntary Participation
Participation in The CPR Ready Generation™ is entirely voluntary.
Individuals are free to participate, discontinue participation, or decline participation at any time.
Schools, school districts, colleges, universities, clubs, organizations, and other participating entities similarly retain the discretion to begin, modify, suspend, or discontinue their involvement in the Movement at any time.
WorldPoint reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, discontinue, or restructure any aspect of the Movement, including programs, initiatives, leadership opportunities, recognition programs, conferences, scholarships, ambassador programs, digital platforms, campaigns, or Website features, at any time and without prior notice.
Participation in any current program does not create a right to continued participation or to future opportunities.
